Born in Montreal, raised on Vancouver Island, trained in NYC, Emma is a walking, feeling, and sounding paradox of an easy going west coast-ing, direct and sardonic eastern urbanite.

​
Training in New York City at Michael Howard Studios & The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Emma worked on stage, on camera and behind the mic in NYC from 2011-2019 until settling in Vancouver, BC.

​
Emma plays relaxed, comfortable in her own skin & with a big, open heart.
Dramatically fierce, direct & smart as a whip
Comedically hilariously overwhelmed when thwarted from attaining any of her many goals.

She is the recipient of many Jazz Festival Awards from across North America, a member of the 2005 Gibson Baldwin GRAMMY Jazz Ensemble, & background vocalist on the 2015 GRAMMY Award winning album, Home, by Tim Kubart & the Space Cadets with producer, Dominic Fallacaro.

Emma is a Registered Rodenburg Teacher, trained in voice, speech and text coaching with Patsy Rodenburg (OBE), and currently on staff teaching voice at the Vancouver Film School.
